2. KYC Requirements

Transaction Thresholds

• Under HKD 120,000: Basic account registration required, including name and contact information. However, we reserve the right to request full KYC verification based on our risk assessment.
• HKD 120,000 and above: Full KYC verification mandatory.

Individual Customers

• Full legal name as per official documents
• Hong Kong ID card or valid passport
• Proof of address (e.g., utility bill, bank statement)
• Contact information (phone, email)
• Source of funds declaration

Corporate Customers

• Certificate of incorporation
• Business registration certificate

3. Video KYC Process

For high-value transactions (≥ HKD 120,000), customers must complete video KYC verification:

• Clear video showing your face and ID document
• State your full name, date of birth, and address
• Confirm your intention to purchase gold

Available in English and Traditional Chinese

Video recordings are securely stored and reviewed by our compliance team within 2-3 business days. All videos are encrypted and stored in compliance with Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO). Video recordings will be retained for a minimum of 5 years as required by law and then securely deleted.

4. Enhanced Due Diligence

Enhanced due diligence may be required for:

• Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs)
• High-risk jurisdictions
• Transactions above HKD 500,000
• Unusual transaction patterns
• Cash-intensive businesses

5. Ongoing Monitoring

We continuously monitor customer transactions and conduct periodic reviews of customer information. Suspicious transactions are reported to the Joint Financial Intelligence Unit (JFIU) as required by Hong Kong law.

6. Record Keeping
